DDoS attack – What is it?

The DDoS attack is a malicious cyber threat where DDoS stands for Distributed Denial of Service. The main goal of such an attack is to make an online service unavailable to regular users by disrupting the performance of a website, server, or network. DDoS attacks are initiated with the help of numerous compromised devices all over the world, which are also called a botnet.
